A Promising Start…Edgar completed his bachelor's degree at Pennsylvania State University. In 1966, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Before opening his first office in the steel town of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, he started out as an Allegheny County public defender. He then became a criminal trial attorney, representing several high-profile clients in highly publicized cases.
